Let’s not call it exercise, let’s call it active living.

It is false to believe you need to do daily strenuous, tedious and time consuming exercise to lose weight. You don’t need a gym membership, unless you enjoy going to the gym. You don’t need pricey home equipment. Let the outdoors be your playground. Guess what, cleaning your house is great exercise and “counts.” Be kind to your body. Do what is comfortable. As you progress, you will be able to try new things and expand your horizons with exercise. Our bodies were meant to move. Exercise doesn’t burn calories as fast as we would like. Our bodies are lean energy machines. Exercise for all the benefits it brings: muscle tone, stress relief, sun rays, socializing and making new friends, enjoying a hobby, having fun!
